Built for people who take their privacy seriously

Anonymous Browsing is a free privacy tool hub that helps you understand and test your digital exposure. We built every tool on this site because the alternatives were either paid, required an account, or did not tell you the full story about what your browser and connection actually leak.

Why we built this

Most people discover the limits of their privacy only after something goes wrong. They trust their VPN, assume incognito mode is enough, or believe that deleting cookies solves the problem. None of these things come close to genuine anonymous browsing.

The tools that existed to test these vulnerabilities were scattered, confusing, often broken, and almost always required creating an account before you could see your results. We found that unacceptable.

We built Anonymous Browsing to give anyone a clear, honest picture of what their browser and internet connection reveal — in seconds, without giving us any information about who they are. The irony of requiring a login to test your privacy was not lost on us.

What makes anonymous browsing hard

There is a significant gap between what people think protects their privacy online and what actually does. This gap exists because privacy is not a single switch you can toggle. It is a combination of four independent layers, and a failure in any one of them can expose your identity completely.

IP address — visible to every website on every request
DNS leak — bypasses your VPN and tells your ISP every domain you visit
WebRTC leak — exposes your real IP through the browser, ignoring the VPN entirely
Browser fingerprint — identifies you uniquely without any cookies using browser settings alone

Our commitments

No data collection
We do not log your IP address, test results, browser fingerprint or any personal information. Your results are visible only to you and are discarded when you close the page.
No account required
Every tool works immediately without creating an account, providing an email address or entering any personal information. Open a page and the tool runs.
Free forever
All 13 tools are completely free with no usage limits, no premium tiers and no paywalls. Privacy testing should not cost money.
Honest results
We use the same browser APIs and detection methods that real websites use to identify you. Our tools show what actually happens, not a sanitised version designed to make you feel safe.
Client-side only
Every tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No data is transmitted to our servers during any test. You can disconnect from the internet after loading a page and most tools still work.
No advertising tracking
We do not run advertising networks, third-party tracking pixels or behavioural analytics scripts on this site. We do not sell or share any data about visitors with third parties.

Advertising and guest posts

Anonymous Browsing accepts sponsored content and guest posts from companies in the VPN, cybersecurity, privacy, proxy and networking industries. All sponsored content is clearly labelled.

We only accept content that is genuinely useful to our readers. We do not publish articles that make misleading claims about privacy or security, regardless of the advertiser.

If your company offers a product or service relevant to online privacy, anonymous browsing or network security and you would like to discuss a guest post, sponsored article or link placement, please get in touch.
